"One Body,One Spirit"

Today, as president of Catholic Student Society-CSS  from University Tunku Abdul Rahaman (Sungai Long Campus), We are glad to have Rev. Father George Harrison from Church of Holy Family, Kajang to celebrate mass with us in this wonderful evening with the theme “One Body, One Sprit.” Most of us who are catholic, which come from different part of Malaysia, united as ONE to have this wonderful Eucharistic celebration.
As a student, we might face different challenges in life. The devil will try to attack each one of us to make sure that we break our relationship with God. The father of liar (the evil one/ the devil) will make sure that we separate ourselves from one and another.
Today, I can proudly tell everyone here, we are all united as ONE; we are all united in CHRIST in this wonderful celebration. We are His chosen people to bear good fruits and bear witness to the world through our words and deeds. My dear friends, today I want to encourage you to wake up every day expecting good. Keep your mind positive, full of joy, hope and anticipation of all the good things God has restore in you, His beloved! All of us are the disciple whom Jesus loves. We are the apple of His eye. The Lord’s wisdom, favor and provision flow mightily in and through all of us. Amen!
When you do this, you are accessing the Lord’s abundant provision for you, and the Father of Liar would not easily attack us in our daily life. All our stress, worries, negative emotions and anxieties will fade away.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sister Margaret and Miss Susan Peter for helping us in this wonderful celebration. Special thanks to all the CSS members: Joanne (Seremban), Sherena Jackson (Bintulu-Sarawak), Vivian Lim (Klang-Selangor), Francis Wong (Johor), Tan Kian Kiak (Sekinchan), Mary Seen (Pahang), Theresa Wong (Sibu-Sarawak), Clement Ling (Sibu-Sarawak), Hezron (Kepong), Monica Ling (Sibu-Sarawak).
Let us continue to bear good fruit, the fruit of a disciple which marked by FAITH, HOPE and LOVE, JUSTICE, PRUDENCE, FORTITUDE and TEMPERANCE.

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as there is one hope to which God has called YOU…”

Process of Life--- Study

Three years ago, before I started entering into the new phase of my life -university life, I started to wonder what will actually a university life for a teenagers who was just 19 years old going to face! Seniors from my school usually will tell you that year 1 is a honey moon in varsity. You might need to suffer a bit when we enter into year 2 or year 3 semester. For me, that is not really true! As a freshmen in university, of course some of us who come from form six, you might find it a bit easy to deal with subjects that have learn during your pre-university. What about those subjects that you never learn or never expose before? So I would say no matter you are in year 1, year 2 or year 3, the thing that you need to do is work hard and pray hard. Interestingly, nowadays I don't really call people to pray hard, but, with faith. Prayer without faith, some how it doesn't work.

Now, as a student soon be graduate. Entering into another phase of life! Now is working life. Totally opposite of Study life. I'm sure that you hear people saying that study life is much more better than working life because of few reasons. First, you do not need to worry about things happen around you, just enjoy life. Second, you do not have much responsibility. your responsibility is to study. Third, you got your freedom. We do not have to force yourself to bed, just because you have to wake up early the next day to rush for work. Mainly these few reasons, people think that it would be good if they were still a student! Well, I guess this a life are all about. We need to go through different stages in life. Each stages in life, we experience and we learn different things. If you really think about it, life is full of mystery. We do not know each stages what hurdle are awaiting for us. However, this is all experience that we can gain in life. Not really a bad thing right?

Study is part of the process in life. We need to study, gain our knowledge, then only we expose to the world. As a student who are graduating soon, I guess I'm going to miss my study life. The thing I'm going to miss is my friends, whom we often hang out together. I'm going to miss all my lecturer who taught us before. Definitely, student will not miss is the exam that we seat for every semester throughout our university days. Is a kind of suffering when we need to prepare for our papers each time. Well, I guess this is what students will always complaint. My advice still the same, work hard and pray with faith! Nothing will goes wrong. Talk about prayer, it will be good that if you start off your study with prayer. What I meant here is have a short prayer before your begin your study. It definitely help in your study. Of course, with FAITH!

All of us will be entering into the new phase of our life after graduation. Hope that we will still have time to meet in the future no matter how busy we are in life. Great wishes :)

Student's Arena

On a particular evening, a friend of mine send me a message and sharing her stories with me. Basically the topic is more on the problems that she faced when she is back to university. She shared with me something that bother her so much, that is the relationship between her and her course-mates.

I will not share the entire things that she has spoken to me, but partly some of the essential part that makes me really think about it. After the sharing, what makes me really think about is the RELATIONSHIP that students have between their course-mates.

I am certainly bless that the course-mates surrounded me, they are just kind and good (Mostly). Of course, we cannot expect people to have perfections in each of every aspects because no one are prefect on earth.  But her situations is totally opposite compare to mine. She has a course-mates who don't really like to share notes with her, and talking bad about her in front of other people. That is the worse part that she couldn't take and tolerate.

Well, I am sure that all of us will face such problem. Regardless of whether you are in the study's arena or working life. Sure that we will meet few people like this in our life, some sort of backstabbing. This is the reality of life. Mainly, different people come from different background and they have their own thinking and characters. Sometimes, we just cannot expect everyone to be nice and perfect in our life.

BE STRONG!

We just have to make sure that we ourselves should not contain such attitude in us, so that you can be a special and unique person, but not perfect! Haha!

Have a blessed day!
