Most beautiful communication in the world

In this 21st century, we are busy chasing after wealth, career, different material things in our life. No doubt, we are material being. Material might be the greatest satisfaction for us, as a human being. But, do we ever consider our spiritual needs? You might look as big as a giant, but deep in your soul might be staving, which you can't see. Now, I wonder how many of you leave some space per day for prayer? Even a minute will do! To be frank, sometimes I fail to do that as well. Nevertheless, prayer is still important as part of my daily routine. Just like food, we need food to provide us energy to carry out our daily routine. Prayer and meditation to God, our creator is also our spiritual needs, which most of us might be longing to seek and find him. A beautiful statement mentioned by St. Augustine : ' You have made us for yourself, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.'' We call this longing for God--Religion. We can understand religion generally to mean a relationship to what is divine. A religious person acknowledges something divine as the power that created him and the world, on which he is dependent and to which he is ordered. He wants to please and honor the Divinity by his way of life. It is natural for man to seek God. All of our striving for truth and happiness is ultimately a search for the one who supports us absolutely, satisfies us absolutely, and employs us absolutely in his service. A person is not completely himself until he has found God. They [men] should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after him and find him. Yet he is not far from each one of us, for "In him we live and move and have our being." (Acts17: 27-28a)

So, what is the most important things that we one can satisfied our spiritual needs? The answer is just simple: Prayer! The church teach us that prayer is turning the heart toward God. When a person prays, he enters into a living relationship with God. Well, sometimes we have to acknowledge our human weaknesses. When we pray, we might feel that we are talking to ourselves. The reason behind it is simple : because we do not acknowledge God is there with us. Often, we think that we are speaking in the air, because we cannot see God. We do not know who are we talking to! Often, we prefer two ways communication instead of one way communication. We want immediate answer, we prefer immediate respond. I guess, this might be the reason of our human weaknesses that cause us not to pray, and find that prayer is bored! Consider this statement by Soren Kierkegaard saying " Praying does not mean listening to yourself speak; praying means calming down and being still and waiting until you hear God." What a beautiful statement, right? any clue or hints that you get from this statement?

Prayer is the great gate leading into faith. Someone who prays no longer lives on his own, for himself, and by his own strength. He knows there is a God to whom he can talk. People who pray entrust themselves more and more to God. Even now they seek union with the one whom they will encounter one day face to face. Therefore, the effort to pray daily is part of Christian life and prayer is a gift one obtains through prayer.

In this busy world, we tend to forget about God, we run away from him and hide. Whether or not we avoid thinking about God or sometimes we might deny him, he is always there for us. He seeks us before we seek him; he yearns for us, he calls us. You speak with your conscience and suddenly notice that you are speaking with God. You feel lonely, have no one to talk with, and then sense that God is always available to talk. You are in danger and experience that a cry for help is answered by God. Praying is as human breathing, eating and loving. Praying purifies. Praying makes it possible to resist temptations. Praying strengthen us in our weakness. Praying remove fear, increase energy, and gives a second wind. Praying makes one happy.

At this point of time, you might be asking when should a person pray? From the earliest times, Christians have prayed at least in the morning, at meals, and in the evening. Someone who does not pray regularly will soon not pray at all.  Anyone who loves another person and all day long never gives that person a sign of his love does not really love him. So it is with God, too. Anyone who truly seeks him will keep sending him signals of his longing for his company and friendship. Now, we should get up in the morning and give the day to God, asking for his blessing and to be there in all your meetings and needs. Thank him, especially at mealtimes. At the end of the day, place everything into his hands, ask him for forgiveness, and pray for peace for yourself and others. A great day full of signs of life that reach God.

To learn from Mary how to pray means to join her in prayer : Let it be done unto me according to your word". (LK 1:38).
Prayer is ultimately self-giving in response to God's love. If we say YES as Mary did, God has the opportunity to lead His life in our life.

So, start your day with prayer today. Let God lead us in our life because prayer is the most beautiful communication with God.

Never give up!

Phew...a sense of relief after the announcement of our final exam's result on our university portal. We, as a student do not have to worry about this matter anymore. We can happily enjoy our holidays for the remaining days. We can enjoy the food that we want! We can enjoy our favorite drama or series! We can hang out with our friends! I'm sure that is heaven to all of us. Of course, after the announcement, perhaps before, people start posting their current status on the social media, especially Facebook, which is the fastest way to reach their peers or friends in order to update their current status.

I still remember when I scrolling my Facebook page, I can see many" happy" status shared by my friends! Nevertheless, the unhappy or so call emotional status still stand out as a prominent one in the eyes of facebookers. We can see the disappointment after the announcement of their result, some sort of cursing or anger in their statement. Some might have repeated the subjects many times, yet they still failed!

often, in life, we have the good side and the bad side. In term of colour, good side will be represented by a brighter colour, and the bad side will be shaded by a darker colour. In life, we cannot expect every moment we are walking on a straight path of the road. Sometimes, we might need to have a right or left turning to bring us to a wider road. Same application in life, failure doesn't mean that is the end of life. In turn, giving-up will be the end of life.

Sometimes we face failure in our life! Take an example of a student life, is normal for a student to fail in their exam! As a student, you cannot expect yourself to know everything in each of the field. The key to success is never give up! Never give up in something that you like! As a student, if you wish to become a graduate, never give up on your studies. Work hard and strive towards it. I'm sure that one day you can become a successful person in life.

Do not give up, and work towards it!

Process of Life--- Study

Three years ago, before I started entering into the new phase of my life -university life, I started to wonder what will actually a university life for a teenagers who was just 19 years old going to face! Seniors from my school usually will tell you that year 1 is a honey moon in varsity. You might need to suffer a bit when we enter into year 2 or year 3 semester. For me, that is not really true! As a freshmen in university, of course some of us who come from form six, you might find it a bit easy to deal with subjects that have learn during your pre-university. What about those subjects that you never learn or never expose before? So I would say no matter you are in year 1, year 2 or year 3, the thing that you need to do is work hard and pray hard. Interestingly, nowadays I don't really call people to pray hard, but, with faith. Prayer without faith, some how it doesn't work.

Now, as a student soon be graduate. Entering into another phase of life! Now is working life. Totally opposite of Study life. I'm sure that you hear people saying that study life is much more better than working life because of few reasons. First, you do not need to worry about things happen around you, just enjoy life. Second, you do not have much responsibility. your responsibility is to study. Third, you got your freedom. We do not have to force yourself to bed, just because you have to wake up early the next day to rush for work. Mainly these few reasons, people think that it would be good if they were still a student! Well, I guess this a life are all about. We need to go through different stages in life. Each stages in life, we experience and we learn different things. If you really think about it, life is full of mystery. We do not know each stages what hurdle are awaiting for us. However, this is all experience that we can gain in life. Not really a bad thing right?

Study is part of the process in life. We need to study, gain our knowledge, then only we expose to the world. As a student who are graduating soon, I guess I'm going to miss my study life. The thing I'm going to miss is my friends, whom we often hang out together. I'm going to miss all my lecturer who taught us before. Definitely, student will not miss is the exam that we seat for every semester throughout our university days. Is a kind of suffering when we need to prepare for our papers each time. Well, I guess this is what students will always complaint. My advice still the same, work hard and pray with faith! Nothing will goes wrong. Talk about prayer, it will be good that if you start off your study with prayer. What I meant here is have a short prayer before your begin your study. It definitely help in your study. Of course, with FAITH!

All of us will be entering into the new phase of our life after graduation. Hope that we will still have time to meet in the future no matter how busy we are in life. Great wishes :)

Fragility to appreciate in life

Couple of weeks ago, early in the morning when I was preparing to get off my bed to prepare for my class, suddenly I received a call from one of my varsity's friend, saying that her dad was in a critical condition and she urged  that if I could offer more prayer for her dad, who are fighting for his life in the ICU room. I immediately send the message to my friends, lecturers and one of the Sister to pray for her dad. Two days later, her dad left. Of course, she is really sad and I can really feel the pain in her.

Throughout the days, all of us try to offer as much prayer as we can, so that her dad would be able to go through this critical moment. I still remember that she told me that she hope that miracle will happen. Eventually, we know that miracle do not take place!

I started to feel the fragility in life. Life is just like a biscuit, once it broke, that's the end of everything. Life is just very short. Each day we do not know that what is going to happen. We do not know that what are the hurdle in front waiting for us to go through. We do not know that what are the challenges we might face in life. Many uncertainly in life that make us worry. I still remember one of the report mention that nearly 30% of the population in the world have depression. There are many factors that cause depression. Pressure that we face due to uncertainty in life might be one of them.

Yes, undeniable! In life, we might face different challenges, many uncertainly with the things that we are doing including the life that we have. I still remember there is a Chinese saying, we should appreciate every moment that we have! Don't start to regret when you have lost it! This sentence is really true! It teaches us how to appreciate what we have for every moment, and we do not start to regret it when you have loose it.

So, we should appreciate every moment that we have. Do not wait until you loose it then only you start regretting~

Behaviour of Price Sensitivity

According to Maslow's theory, the first thing that the theory consider is human needs.Well, need and want are two different things. However, This theory is really true! Human need is an important factor that we need to consider as our first priority, followed by security. Of course, food is an important or necessity for us. We need food to sustain our life. We need food to bring us energy so that we are able to carry out our daily duty. However, in this modern day, food does not seems merely as a need anymore, but also one of the promoting strategy use by the marketer. We can see that in any occasion, or even promotion function for one particular products, food seems to be the best way to attract people in the Malaysia's culture. Undeniable, we love food! Food is a form of enjoyment for us. Food is a form of relaxation for us. Perhaps, some might claimed that food do bring positive ions to the body.

Two days ago, we celebrated the most beautiful day, Mother's Day. Undoubtedly, having a good meal would be the first activities listed among all as part of the celebration.  Yes, we need good food. We need it as part of our celebration. However, we can also see that the price charged by most of the restaurant are so call 'ridiculous'. Here refers to the pricing is not longer reasonable. As an economic student, I know that festive season, prices will rise. Seller will take the opportunity to increase their price. But, increase with a little margin I guess it will be fine enough. Eventually, this is not the case. They will just increase a high as possible as though they was the only seller in the market . As a consumer, we couldn't be bother what sort of price that we are paying. We didn't really think does it worth the money that we are paying or not! We tend to just pay whatever price that offer by the seller. Isn't that true in our culture?

Price sensitivity is a very important practice, so that the price in the market may not escalate drastically as a flowing water in the stream. Price sensitivity bring equilibrium to the marker pricing. It may also bring down the inflation of that particular country.  However, people might not feel that way. As far as they can afford it, they still will patronage even though they know that the pricing does not seems to be reasonable at all. The only way to solve the problem is through Boycott!!! As we know, once the demand is low, it may eventually reduce the price in the market.

Now, some might argue that we are in the capitalist market. I have the money! I can afford it! Why should I worry? The question now is, do you ever consider the poor in the society? It might further increase the social imbalance that increase the gap between the rich and the poor. It might lead to a social problem in the future.
Western country and some part of the state in Malaysia, the consumers are price sensitive toward the things that they are paying. So when we really analyse it, the pricing is reasonable especially food (Human basic necessity).

Therefore, making a right choice in your life so that you and the society might benefit from it.

My Group Thesis!!!

Done! Finally I'm done with three papers for my final exam. I have one more paper to go. This is not the point I would like to elaborate today. I'm happy that the hard work that we done for our group thesis is out!

Yes, this is our outcome as a reward for our hard work! However, we do not know what will be the result for it. At least, we can proudly say that we have done our every best to work on it. Regardless what will be the result, at least this is the work the we have done to achieve the result that all of us desire the most.

This is the sharing about me today! I will eventually share more after my exam!

Have a wonderful day :)
